There is no known burial register covering the period 1893 to 1903.The first burial register covers the period 1904-1974 The Plan of the original 1893 graveyard suggests that the burial register was not completed in the years 1952-1957. The register from 1975-2008 covers the more recent burials in the graveyard extension, which was consecrated in 1938

G.F.S. (Girls Friendly Society) The object of this society, established in 1875, was to provide encouragement and support for girls and young women, with a view to preventing the destitute from entering prostitution. Skills training and employment were seen as key weapons. National membership grew very rapidly, peaking at 197,000 in 1913. It was unique at the time in being run by women for women. In 1886 local branches were active in Ellesmere, Bangor, Worthenbury and Hanmer. Many of its members were in domestic service. Loyalty to employers and money saved in the Savings Bank were rewarded by premiums and bonuses. The annual festival at Isycoed on 3rd August 1886 was attended by 27 members from Hanmer and a similar number from Tallarn.
